Privacy

What we collect when you contact us, why, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

What we collect

When you send a request through this website, we receive what you type or pick in the form:

We don’t ask for anything else, and we don’t buy information about you from anyone.

How we use it

Only to answer your request and to do the work you ask us to do. We don’t sell, rent or share your information for marketing. By sending the form, you agree that we can use it this way; you can withdraw that at any time by emailing us.

Where it goes

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you send the form, it is delivered straight to our email inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). It isn’t stored in a website database. Cloudflare and Google may process it outside Canada, including in the United States.

To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains what it processes.

Cookies and tracking

Our website doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. While you fill in the form, your answers are kept in your own browser tab, so they survive a reload; they are cleared when you send the form or close the tab. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to protect the site from bots.

How long we keep it

If your request doesn’t turn into work with us, we delete it within 24 months. If you become a client, we keep records of the work and invoices for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as the Canada Revenue Agency requires, and then delete them.

How we protect it

Only the people who need your information to help you can see it, and we protect it with safeguards suited to how sensitive it is. If a breach ever puts you at real risk of significant harm, we’ll tell you and report it to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Who’s responsible

Our privacy officer is responsible for how we handle personal information and for answering questions about this policy. You can reach them at [email protected].

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
